Frequently Asked Questions

  • You are eligible for coverage if you are a full time employee and you have satisfied your waiting period.

  • You can sign up for coverage shortly after your employment begins, during our annual enrollment period, or if you have a qualifying life change event.

  • All cost information is available through our online enrollment platform. Please use your employee login credentials to review the cost of coverages.

  • Yes, all eligible employees must log in to Employee Navigator and enroll or waive coverage. Additionally, all Full-Time employees receive employer paid life insurance at no cost and must designate a beneficiary through the enrollment platform.

  • All medical plan participants will receive new ID cards from United Healthcare.

    Dental and vision plan participants will not receive physical ID cards, but will be able to access virtually through their Sun Life and VSP portal. More information is available through the attachments linked above.

  • The best way to check in network providers is by creating and account and logging in to myUHC.com.

    You may also review the network as a guest through MyUHC.com. Be sure to select either the Doctor’s Plan HMO or Navigate HMO network options when searching.

  • Yes, you will need to provide dates of birth and social security numbers for all members of your household. Please have this information available prior to starting your enrollment process.

  • Fortunately, with our new plan design you will have several options for doctors. We would encourage all participants to meet with and utilize the Nextera providers as they will be the highest level of care at the lowest price ($0!). However, if you have a current relationship with a provider, you may still see them and benefits will be paid according to the plan summaries. It is always imperative to verify if the provider is in network prior to receiving any care.

  • Yes - you may sign up for the 401(k) through the link above. You can sign up anytime and make changes to your deferral elections once a month, if you choose.

  • The best way to search for a dentist is through the Sun Life employee portal. Once you have made your elections and the new plan year has started (June 1), you may create an account and login to search for in network dentists.

  • No! You can independently elect any of the coverages available to you.
